Protect Your Rights

If you have been charged with a crime or are being investigated for a crime, obtaining an effective criminal defense attorney should be your first step. Police officers may ask to speak to you or ask for permission to search your property. These decisions should never be made without first speaking to an experienced criminal defense attorney.

The Right Team For The Job

If you are charged with a crime, a lawyer from Edwards & Kautz will do everything possible to keep you from being convicted and to ensure that you are treated fairly if you are convicted or decide to plead guilty. You need an attorney who has experience trying cases in front of juries. You need an attorney who will fight to protect your rights.

Attorney Will Kautz has practiced almost exclusively criminal defense law for over 40 years. Mr. Kautz has tried hundreds of cases, ranging all the way from minor traffic violations to murder. He has also defended numerous individuals charged with federal criminal offenses.

Attorney Dave Bundrick has practiced almost exclusively criminal defense since 2006. He has successfully tried DUI cases, misdemeanors and felonies in state courts; these include cases charging drug offenses, sex offenses, and homicides. Dave has also won multiple acquittals in federal court – where fewer than 1% of cases result in acquittals.

Attorney Angy Cox has practiced criminal defense since she graduated law school in 2019. Angy has successfully fought and won trials for many clients and one falsely-accused dog. She has tried cases including DUIs and other misdemeanors all the way up to felonies, including drug cases and sex offenses. Prior to joining Edwards and Kautz, Angy was a public defender. During her time at the Department of Public Advocacy, Angy tried more cases per year – by herself – than several other entire DPA offices.
